    District 20 Campout

    Campground Information

    • Private campground. It is a private group camp so we will be the only campers there!
    • You can camp in a tent or RV. There are no hook ups (power OR water)
    • Paved level parking for RVs
    • Tent camping allowed in various areas, besides the main lawn
    • Huge paved parking lot, adjacent to campground
    • Check in is 2pm, check out is 11am.
    • There is a horseshoe pit, volleyball area, and swing set
    • Vault toilets. No showers.
    • Multiple bear boxes for food. We must store all food and toiletries here. No food in tents!!
    • Sink/spigots with potable water. (No RV water hookup)
    • Outlets for small appliances (YAY FOR COFFEE)
    • Picnic table seating for 100 - but please bring your own chair/blanket for the meeting if you can
    • Near Discovery Trail, Bear river, south fork of the Yuba. Fuller lake and more lakes further down Bowman lake rd.
    • The campground is mostly handicap accessible. A little bumpy in parts but a lot of paved and or flat areas.
    • Dogs must be leashed at all times and make sure their poop is picked up.
    • Ice machine we have access to in the pump house
    • Area lighting
    • Quiet hours from 10pm - 8am
    • Must smoke in our designated smoking section and extinguish in the ashtray with water
    • Any propane devices must have at least 3 ft clearance from any vegetation and flammable materials
    • Fires only in designated fire pit and must have 10 ft clearance from vegetation and flammable materials
    • Fires must be supervised at all times and completely extinguished before leaving it unattended
    • There is cell service there, though it can be spotty.
    • There are tons of trees providing shade but probably best to bring a canopy or umbrella if you are sensitive to the sun.
    • Bring layers. It can get chilly at night in that area.

    What is the district providing?

    • Free coffee and s’mores all weekend. (Bring your own coffee mug if you can!)
    • Cold drinks. One will come with your purchased meal and you can buy more.
    • Purchased dinner tickets include a cold drink, a protein (hotdog, chicken, or veg option) buns, condiments, plates, utensils etc., and whatever potluck sides we get.
    • Games! We will bring cards, board games and maybe some other fun games. Bring a favorite game of yours to share!
    • A basic first aid kit and fire extinguisher for any emergencies.
